This scart connects the Playstation/PSone/Playstation2 and ps2 slimline video game system to the scart socket on your TV for uppermost RGB quality.

RGB carries Red, Green & Blue separately - reducing crosstalk/interference, & means the signal is unaltered in the TV this provides the best gaming picture possible.

Using this SCART also means NTSC(US,Japan) games play in full colour on your PAL(NZ std) TV! (as PAL or NTSC is irrelevant to RGB)
If you can play NTSC games, but they're Black&White - they'll now play in colour.

Some or all DVD movies may have a green tinge when played through SCART RGB, due to a form of pro tection used on the PS2 the green tinge is stopped by switching the cable to composite mode for dvd.

Cable Also has 2 audio leads which can be used to connect HiFi if required
